TenPoint’s Carbon Revolution Continues with Carbon Elite XLT™

Mogadore, OH.  Headlining the new additions to their crossbow lineup at the 2012 ATA Trade Show, TenPoint Crossbow Technologies® married the woven carbon fiber barrel technology from last year’s revolutionary Carbon Fusion CLS™ to their growing lineup of streamlined XLT™ (Xtreme Limb Technology) models to create the NEW Carbon Elite XLT™, now the fastest and lightest of the popular XLT group.

Like all XLT models, the Carbon Elite XLT’s bow assembly measures 13.5-inches from axle-to-axle when cocked and the riser comes with a detachable, lightweight, coated aluminum foot stirrup.  Its 11-inch IsoTaper Limbs™ are double laminated for improved strength and durability and are equipped with NEW MRX™ cams and D-75 string and cables.  Combined, these features create a 185-pound draw weight model that shoots 352 fps with TenPoint’s NEW Pro Lite™ carbon arrow.

TenPoint’s ultra-light wrapped carbon fiber barrel has answered the market’s demand for lighter and quieter crossbows.  The barrel is fitted with threaded aluminum rivet nuts which “float” it inside the stock to further reduce noise and vibration between the barrel and stock.  It also features an extruded aluminum trigger mount fitted securely inside the rear of the barrel cavity.  In addition, the barrel’s flight deck has an extremely low coefficient of friction that promotes improved string life.  With its lightweight carbon barrel and compact XLT bow assembly, the crossbow weighs in at 6-pounds 14-ounces.

“With two of our most popular recent innovations – the XLT bow assembly and the carbon barrel - the Carbon Elite will be a highly attractive option to those who understand and appreciate our technology,” said TenPoint CEO, Rick Bednar.  “The customer looking for top-level technology and performance will want a Carbon Elite.”

The Carbon Elite XLT also features TenPoint’s patented DFI™ (dry-fire inhibitor), highly regarded 3.5-pound patented PowerTouch™ trigger and patented GripSafety™.

Equipped with the ACUdraw™ or ACUdraw 50™, TenPoint’s patented cocking units, and the RangeMaster Pro™ variable speed and power scope, the Carbon Elite XLT is double-dip fluid imaged in Mossy Oak’s® popular Break-Up Infinity® camo pattern.

The model is sold only as a complete package that includes a soft case, carbon arrows, silencer kit, and quiver.

Carbon Elite XLT MAP:  $1699 with ACUdraw, $1599 with ACUdraw 50.

All TenPoint crossbows are USA Owned, Operated, and Manufactured in Mogadore, OH.
